Excellent very helpful staff

Lovely room and good service and great food.

A warm, friendly welcome and a clean, comfortable hotel. The staff were all very helpful and there was always someone available to help or explain. It was an added bonus that the hotel hosted events and had facilities that brought in the local community. The support of local producers gave a real taste of the area. Will definitely stay again when next in the area.

Great stay, wonderful location, wonderful bar

Stayed at the hotel June 2025 and the location was perfect. The rooms were clean, service staff were attentive and polite. The front desk staff were always helpful. The town is a wonderful small Irish location which provides access to Cork City located just an hour away. I would recommend this hotel to any friend traveling in the area.

We were made welcome to this family hotel and we really enjoyed our stay the room was lovely and clean and the hotel had it ready for us as we arrived early from England the food especially the breakfast was very good we went in the pool and enjoyed our swim and a big thank you to all the staff they always had a smile on there face they obviously liked working there once again a big thanks from Alan & Pat.

Great food, staff, room, and dining experience. Excellent wait staff always fit us in for food service which was greatly appreciated since visiting sites had us returning later to hotel. That extra assistance makes the difference. Thank you.

Stayed for 1 night while travelling in the region on business. Best rate was directly with the hotel and got a good deal including breakfast. Had excellent steak sandwich in the bar for dinner. Room good, no problems at all.

I could not have been happier with my stay. The room was immaculate and the staff were warm, friendly and so helpful. I also ate in the Bar there and was so happy with my meal. I would absolutely stay there again.

Friendly staff, beautiful accommodations, very clean and comfortable. Parking was off site but very easy to access and only a short walk.

The staff were lovely, the room was comfortable, the bathroom was very nice and the breakfast was always delicious. The bar was great and had live music. The hotel was easy to get to and had had parking in the premises.

Wonderful hotel, perfect location to discover the southwest region. Very clean rooms, great food options and the highlight is the breakfast, especially the freshly baked scones. Private guest parking convenient to the entrance. Staff were professional and friendly and cater for any wishes or questions. Definitely will stay again on my return.

I had a fabulous three night stay aat the Hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful. The food is delicious, from the breakfasts to the evening meals. It is a great place to meet up with family and friends. The Pool and Fitness Centre are great also. I am looking forward to returning to The Castle Hotel again in early 2026. Highly Recommended.

I was greeted with the friendliest welcome during my whole week in Ireland, into a cozy environment. The room was lovely, and dinner was excellent. I wish I had been able to spend more time, but I will definitely come back. Thank you all.

Absolutely wonderful! Huge room, very warm and comfortable, amazing bed, great service, great location, great breakfast. I totally recommend this place.

I stayed for 2 nights with my mother while we were in Ireland for a family funeral. All of the staff were truly kind and helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible under the circumstances. I hope to come back under happier circumstances.
