We had a very pleasant overnight stay, also had lunch and dinner. We found the staff to be excellent, the food good and the bedroom comfortable. The room was a surprisingly long walk from reception, but no problem. Free car parking was a bonus.

As always a great welcome where they provide great hospitality with nice friendly staff offering great service. Big enough to have everything but still holding on to all that’s great about a family run hotel.

You are WONDERFUL people! We arrived with our trikes, absolutely soaked and exhausted, and your welcome was exquisite. We had a fantastic meal, shared with a jolly bunch of Irish rugby fans for the great game that Ireland won!!! Thank you. Our best memory of Ireland.

Food is excellent beds very comfortable

I have stayed at the Castle Hotel a few times now and all have been very pleasant experiences. I found the bedroom to be very large, clean and comfortable. All the staff that I engaged with were very pleasant and helpful. Had a great breakfast during my stay and would highly recommend the Castle hotel

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at the Castle Hotel. The rooms were great, as were all the restaurants. The entire staff was wonderful and so accommodating, especially since my husband is in a wheelchair. We would absolutely stay again!

Location in the centre of the town suited us and parking at the rear of the hotel a bonus. The hotel room was large and airy. Staff friendly and efficient check in/out. We ate in the bar and the meal was nice. Breakfast nicely cooked

Great location in terms of a jump off point to major sites in the south of Ireland. Hotel itself was 5-star. Comfortable bed and room size was perfect for a couple, not to mention clean. Staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff were very attentive and polite, and breakfast itself was top notch, everything from eggs, bacon, sausages, fruit, etc. It literally filled us up for the day. Price for the room was fair. Nice fully stocked convenience store next door for any extras you may want. The only two downsides were the parking (very tight and limited around back, but to be fair there is no parking on the street) and the lack of pubs/eateries in the small town, although the hotel had a decent pub. Great experience, highly recommended!
